neoclassical building next to Aristotelous Square, which was built in 1924 and was
completely renovated in 2009. The Tornivoukas family decided to completely renovate
the historic building in 2009, preserving its traditional façade and turning it into a
modern boutique hotel. The stunning architectural details of the façade, the art deco
balconies, the neoclassical high windows with magnificent views and carefully chosen
color combinations make The Excelsior one of the most luxurious hotels in Greece.
The interior design, layout and decoration captivate the eye with their elegant
aesthetics, while the classic marble staircase, the refurbished elevator and the
beautiful furniture resemble Parisian buildings of the 1900’s, combining elegance and
